Can you tell us a little bit about yourself: where are you from and if you are not originally from Paris, what brought you to Paris? what do you do for a living?

Originally, I was adopted from Taipei, Taiwan when I was a little baby. Since then, I have been fully brought up in France. Luckily, I had the chance to go there two times and I absolutely enjoyed Taiwan as a country and its variety. Paris has been my home ever since and I could not live anywhere else. For me, it is the most beautiful city in the world!

I am the Commercial & Image Director for the luxury shoe brand Michel Vivien. My role is to develop the brand retailers all around the world, mostly Europe and revealing the brand’s DNA through communication and marketing tools.

What is your favourite pastime?

My favourite pastime is traveling, or trying out new restaurants. Once a month when I have the time, I like to take a moment for myself with a two-hour Japanese face massage which will take away any tension I might have.

How would you define your style?

My style is effortless. I always favour timeless pieces made from quality materials, as well as a shape that highlights me. I often wear classic pieces with a touch of colour depending on my mood. Accessories are very important to me as I usually don’t wear any make-up.

A place you visit for inspiration? Or a person who inspires you?

To get inspired, I love to spend time at my country house near Blois-Chambord, as it’s only 1h30 away from Paris by train. At the house, we have a big garden and a lovely swimming pool. Compared to Paris, it is so nice to be able to have space and calmness which is a total luxury. I truly love the nature aspect over there, waking up with a breeze and birds singing is so relaxing. My parents also genuinely inspire me with the way they live their lives. I know it’s such a cliché but I absolutely love spending time with them whenever I get the rare opportunity.

How would you define Modern Femininity?

For me, modern femininity is a combination of expressing our feminine side and personality through style, whilst celebrating the variety and indifferences of the modern woman. Nowadays, we can feel feminine whilst wearing a dress, heels, tight clothes, but also and especially with a simple T-shirt and jeans. We are all different with our unique styles as each of us will add their special touch and wear the same clothes differently.
