In celebration of International Women’s Day, we invited photographer Annyck, a long-time friend of the brand, to share her perspective on femininity through her work as a photographer. For this edition of “In Her Words” #MagaliPascal, she turns the camera toward herself through a series of self-portraits, offering a personal reflection on identity, representation, and femininity.
Alongside these images, Annyck shares her inspirations, her approach to portraying women, and the creative process behind her work. Drawing from her long-standing collaboration with Magali Pascal, she also reflects on her visual approach and how the brand naturally resonates with her artistic sensibility.
How does your work reflect your identity or experience as woman?
“My work reflects how I experience femininity. It’s layered, intuitive, strong but never too loud.”
When you shoot a campaign for Magali Pascal, how do you translate the brand spirit into your own visual language?
“I focus on light, movement, atmosphere. I allow space for natural gestures and movement, instead of over directing. My goal is to let woman feel the collection on set, to feel grounded and natural, so the brand’s worth comes through organically.”
What do you like most about Magali Pascal?
“The brand feels very honest in its femininity, it’s elegant. This balance resonates deeply with me as a photographer.
As part of the “In Her Words” #MagaliPascal series, this story celebrates women who shape their own narratives through creativity and expression, with more stories to come.
