SS23 Inspiration
SS23 is a tribute to Magali’s 20 years in Indonesia, exploring the inherent interplay between form and space; manifesting in tonal textures, unexpected shapes and a cacophony of coloured prints gracing minimal and maximal silhouettes alike.
The collection explores native and unique handicrafts, reflecting a lifestyle that is conscious of both cultural roots and artisanal strengths, offering a contemporary take on femininity.
Inspired by traditional craftmanship and materials native to Indonesia, the Devi Dres and Top are crafted from the dried stem of the banana leaf. These styles are a celebration of the archipelagos unique approach to workmanship as well as a highlighting the importance and urgency of circularity, by re-purposing materials.
